Has anyone had a problem with the Nyko Intercooler EX?
The Nyko Intercooler EX (http://www.nyko.com/nyko/products/?i=71), is a fan device you connect to the back of you Xbox 360 to keep it cooler. Its power is a pass through connection. The Xbox 360’s power cable connects to it, and then it connects to the back of the Xbox. I got this device for my Xbox 360 with the intent that it would keep it cool and prevent the Red Ring of Death. When I got it home, that is what I got. My precious Xbox 360 is dead! I thought that may be a coincidence. The Red Ring of Death seems to be a problem enough to extend the warranty to 3 years for this issue. So I called tech support; they sent me a cardboard coffin. I sent it in and got back a tested refurbished Xbox 360. When I got it today I reconnected it and SAME THING! (WTF!?!) All I did was plugging the power into the cooler device and then connected to the back of the Xbox360. It did not boot up at all when turning on. It went straight to HELL! Has any one had this problem?
